Who We Are

The Lucchese wines are produced in the area called Rapitalà (from the Arabic Rabidh-Allah— garden of Allah), in the estate of the Lucchese family, a few kilometres from the towns of Alcamo and Camporeale. The estate, characterised by the typical hilly landscape of western Sicily, with sun-drenched, gentle slopes swept by strong breezes, is a succession of vineyards that were once exclusively dedicated to the cultivation of the Catarratto grapes. Over the past few years, we have diversified our production adding prestigious grape varieties to the traditional Catarratto: Nero d’Avola, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sirah, Merlot, and Chardonnay. We carefully grow and select the best grapes and employ state of the art technologies to make wines intended for customers who appreciate traditional local flavours.
